Hanger Lane Bridges Replacement

Hanger Lane Bridges Replacement

The Hanger Lane bridge replacement project was located on a busy section of the A406 North Circular in North West London and crossed several Network Rail and London Underground railway lines.

Taylor Woodrow’s contract included the construction of two new road-over-rail steel bridges and the demolition of existing structures. The new South bridge was built offline and slid into position during a rail possession which avoided closing the North Circular Road for 5 days.

The work scope also included 21-23m deep caissons, extensive temporary works, Statutory Undertakers diversions and associated road works and finishes.
