We have successfully undertaken both improvement works in live depot environments and design and build contracts for new facilities.
Our completed projects include providing London Underground with an infrastructure to fully operate and maintain the ‘S7’ stock tube trains from existing live depots at opposite ends of the District and Circle lines. The project features a lifting system that comprises of 28 self-supported lifting jacks capable of synchronously lifting an entire S7 train, using an innovative split rail system, as pictured.
We are also building a new Crossrail depot at Old Oak Common, which is set to be one of the largest depots in Europe and includes the construction of new structures and multiple additional sidings to assist in the maintenance and operation of Transport for London’s new Elizabeth Line fleet of trains.
Through working closely with our supply chain, we have designed and built a renewable energy system that will provide 30% of the depot’s energy needs.
