Assistant Data Analyst

Job Role:
Taylor Woodrow is recruiting for an Assistant Data Analyst to work within our Digital Transformation team to support data, visualisation and application development tasks. This will include data management tasks, graphical representations, low code applications for UI and UX, and azure environment application tasks.
The Assistant Data Analyst will work across a
variety of projects supporting the Taylor Woodrow Digital Transformation
strategy, as well as providing technical data solutions to a range of our
clients and stakeholders.
Duties:
- Identify, collect and
analyse relevant data using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Identify any issues in
data sets, and create reports on the results, using visualisations when
necessary.
- Document and report the results
of data analysis activities, making recommendations to improve business
performance.
- Apply methods and
tools to improve the quality performance of processes, products and services.
- Identify requirements
from technical documents, commercial input or stakeholder statements and
converting to definitions that can drive the organisation's processes.
- Apply a range of
business improvement approaches tools and techniques. These will include
problem definition, measurement systems analysis, basic data analysis,
graphical data analysis, use of software tools for data analysis, root cause
analysis, identification and assessment of improvement options, process control
tools.
- Implement data
analysis techniques and statistical methodologies.
Person Specification
- A formal qualification
in an IT-related subject
- Previous experience
developing UX using ShortPoint or similar for applications within the business.
- Good understanding of
Power BI is
advantageous
