Christmas Fundraising takes EcoPark South’s Total to £10,000

The EcoPark South project rounded off their fundraising for 2021 with a Christmas Jumper day. During the Christmas period, they successfully raised £730.50, over a series of fundraising events including an appeal for the Salvation Army who supports underprivileged families who cannot afford to buy Christmas presents. The team successfully donated 128 presents which were worth over £600!

The team have successfully raised a grand total of £10,000 for a number of charities they supported in 2021. £7900 of that total was raised for my AFK.

The charities they supported in 2021 are:
• my AFK - a charity that supports disabled children, young people and families.
• North Enfield Foodbank – a charity that works to tackle food poverty and hunger in local communities as well as across the UK.
• Salvation Army Enfield – who provide a diverse range of services to defend those who are vulnerable and abused and they fight against injustice.
• Salvation Army Waltham Forest – who provide a diverse range of services to defend those who are vulnerable and abused and they fight against injustice.
• All People, All Places – who provide accommodation and support to people facing homelessness in the Haringey and Enfield areas.

A huge well done to the EcoPark South team for their fantastic efforts in 2021 to support so many great charities!
