The redevelopment of White Hart Lane Station directly supported a regeneration plan for the area, including the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium, a museum, hotel and several new housing projects.
The works created a new station entrance and a new ticket hall south of the current station building. They allowed for improved passenger flows by providing step-free access to the centre of the platforms, as well as creating an opportunity for community activity within the area.

The underpasses were installed using the innovative method of jacking two boxes into place underneath the London Overground track during a weekend possession, significantly reducing the closure period needed for the works. In August 2019 the team reached a major milestone when the new station was opened to passengers for the first time. The final elements of the project were completed in December 2021 to deliver this fantastic new facility for the area.
