We support a range of initiatives across our industry to share knowledge, develop solutions and ensure that we are all equipped to meet future needs.
The Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA)
We are members of CECA Southern and as part of this, we contribute towards and help influence regional and national priorities within our industry.
Construction Logistics and Community Safety (CLOCS)
Our CLOCS membership enables us to help define safer practices as part of a wide-reaching community. It also supports us in effectively implementing a nationally recognised Standard to ensure the safest construction vehicle journeys.
Engineering Development Trust Industrial Cadet Gold Project
The Project promotes STEM subjects to encourage more students to follow a career in engineering. We partner with schools to set them a project that provides insight into the industry whilst challenging the student’s thinking, and mentor them whilst they research and develop a solution.
Get It Right Initiative (GIRI)
Our GIRI membership sees us form part of a group of UK construction industry experts, organisations and businesses actively improving productivity, quality, sustainability and safety in the construction sector by eliminating error.
Innovate UK’s Knowledge Transfer Network
The world we live in faces ever-changing societal, environmental and economic challenges, which are felt regionally, nationally and globally. We are part of the Knowledge Transfer Network, whose mission is to connect ideas, people and communities to respond to these challenges and drive positive change through innovation.
Lean Construction Institute UK
Lean thinking focuses on increasing value for the customer while employing fewer resources and creating less waste. We members of the Lean Construction Institute UK, which supports research into and dissemination of Lean construction principles and best practice with a view to continually improving public sector construction.
New Engineering Contract (NEC) User Group
NEC Contracts inspire mutual trust and collaboration throughout the supply chain. Being a part of this group enables us to exchange knowledge and best practice with NEC users around the world.
Supply Chain Sustainability School (SCSS)
As part of VINCI Construction UK, we are partners of the SCSS. The School is a collaboration between clients, contractors and suppliers who have a mutual interest in building the skills of their supply chain. Partners pay for the School, so it's free for supply chain to use.
Temporary Works Forum (TWF)
TWF encourages open discussion and knowledge sharing on any matter related to temporary works - giving authoritative guidance, exploring current practices and staying focussed on innovations in design, construction and use.
Women In Science and Engineering (WISE) Campaign
Our WISE membership forms part of our commitment towards a gender-balanced team. WISE provides products and services to organisations to accelerate cultural change and increase gender balance in STEM.
