Community Stakeholder Manager

Taylor Woodrow are recruiting for a Community Stakeholder Manager to join the joint venture responsible for the construction and delivery of HS2’s Old Oak Common station in North West London.  The circa £1bn project will include the delivery of six underground platforms as well as up to eight platforms on the adjacent Great Western Main Line.

Reporting to the Head of Stakeholder Management, the Community Stakeholder Manager will work as part of a team to manage relationships between all key stakeholders on the project

 

Duties:

·        Identify through a process of stakeholder mapping all project related stakeholders including residential and commercial neighbours and any other groups or individuals affected by the project.

·        Develop and maintain the Stakeholder and Community Relations Plan, including communications programme

·        Ensure compliance with the legal consents and commitments and undertakings incumbent on the project.

·        Ensure all complaints and enquiries are documented, addressed and closed out in a timely manner

·        Maintain a project communication register documenting complaints, accolades and in-coming and out-going communications between local community and other key stakeholders

·        Produce written communications for both internal & external audiences to include activity notices, monthly updates, newsletters, media items and articles, awards submissions.

·        Facilitate regular Stakeholder Meetings/Community Liaison Panel Meetings.

·        Engage with Schools, Colleges and University to promote the project and develop awareness of the construction industry.

·        Coordinate volunteering activities and identify projects within the local community with which to develop partnerships

 

Person Specification:

·        Previous experience gained as a Community Stakeholder advisor/manager, ideally within a construction or civil engineering company

·        Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and the local community
